Located in the Poblenou district of Barcelona, Chidy Wayne’s studio sits in a quiet cobblestone passage. Light and architecture define the space: sunlight creates natural zones within the open industrial hall, from the mezzanine office to the kitchen beneath the stairs. Designed by Isern Serra, the studio combines functionality with a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

The story of the studio began by chance: shortly before meeting the designer, Chidy Wayne discovered the space through a listing. This led to a close collaboration built on trust, respect, and a strong creative connection. From the beginning, it was clear that the studio would be a shared project.

A key aspect of the concept is the balance between design and artistic freedom. Smart solutions, such as hidden storage, allow the space to be transformed quickly—from a clean, organized setting to an intensive work environment. The studio supports the artwork without overshadowing it.

The studio has expanded Chidy Wayne’s way of working. He can now create larger pieces and experiment with materials such as steel without limitations. The space acts as a large, open canvas that enables spontaneous ideas to take shape freely.
Beyond being a workspace, the studio also serves as a place for gathering. Through dinners and meetings, it creates direct interaction with the audience. This personal setting allows for deeper conversations about art and fosters connections that go far beyond traditional exhibitions.
