EIKŌ AI is a fashion brand created by Gloria Llado, based in Barcelona. Inspired by Japanese craftsmanship and a deep attention to detail, it began with the design of kimono-style dresses featuring unique and delicate prints. Its inspiration comes from the colors of light, analog warmth, and fantastical stories. Its universe is inclusive, cosmopolitan, sensual, and magical.
The new showroom of EIKŌ AI in Barcelona is conceived as a physical extension of its creative universe: a space where fashion, light, and storytelling intertwine to shape a sensory experience. More than an exhibition venue, the project is envisioned as a “creative house” that combines a showroom, workshop, and workspace within a single, fluid environment.

The proposal reflects the essence of the brand, founded in 2018 and recognized for its delicate visual language, where craftsmanship and dreamlike elements coexist with a contemporary sensibility shaped by light and color. In this context, the interior design translates these values into a soft, organic, delicate, and feminine architecture, where the pursuit of beauty remains a constant idea.

At the heart of the space lies an open area that invites gathering and shared experience. It is a mutable environment that adapts to different uses through layers of curtains—a space that is deconstructed through a system of tracks, where curtains open and close to create varying degrees of intimacy. Mobile suspended structures, functioning as garment rails, form small still-life compositions showcasing pieces from the collection. Transparency, reflections, and translucent surfaces evoke a constant interest in capturing the intangible—also present in the brand’s collections—where light acts as a thread connecting the visible and the emotional. A seating area, composed of vintage furniture and lighting, is placed at the center of the space, within the gallery setting of Fenix Originals
The showroom is organized through soft transitions between areas, avoiding rigid boundaries. Curtains, curved walls, and textured materials allow the space to be modulated, creating different atmospheres without losing visual continuity. This flexibility responds to the space’s dual nature: both exhibition and functional, intimate yet open at the same time.

In contrast, the work areas are conceived as serene, domestic spaces, where light tones and warm materials predominate. Here, the brand’s objects take center stage, integrating into the environment as part of a coherent narrative that blurs the boundary between product and space. A large table structures the workspace—a custom-built piece conceived almost as a sculptural element.

In this area, there is a built-in sofa accompanied by a curated selection of designer furniture. A small table from Fenix Originals sits alongside a chair conceived as a sculptural piece by the designers Sietes and Alex Belotti.

The workshop, bathed in natural light, completes the spatial sequence as the place where ideas take shape. Also conceived as a multifunctional space, it can host everything from creative processes to photo shoots, reinforcing the idea of a living showroom in constant transformation.
On the other side, we find the kitchen and dining area. A large custom-designed table by the studio is paired with a selection of vintage chairs from the Polop gallery in Barcelona.

The space is accessed through a tunnel that evokes an entry into the world of EIKŌ AI, where architecture and a refined attention to detail coexist.

Altogether, the project not only presents EIKŌ AI’s collections but also creates a setting that tells their story: a space where fashion is experienced through beauty, materiality, and emotion, transporting visitors into the poetic and sensory universe that defines the brand.
